After years of languishing in development hell, failed attempts to adapt it into a movie in the 80s and an underwhelming TV miniseries, Stephen King's epic novel The Stand is finally heading to the big screen. The adaptation will be produced by Mosaic and Roy Lee via Warner Bros., who will also handle the worldwide distribution, and CBS Films.
