H1Z1 Release Date Announcement

So I heard earlier today that this coming Monday (8/12/2014) S.O.E are going to be announcing the release date for the early access alpha of H1Z1.

Just wondering what you guys thoughts are on the game in general? Looking forward to it or not so keen?

A zombie survival game?

I'm not a fan of survival games in general, though. So I may be biased...

For the past 2 years I have been an avid player of DayZ, since Day 1 of the mod. I mean it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I really think it's a good genre of game, and I personally cannot wait for H1Z1 to be released!

Totally agree Hamiltonious! It's definitely going to be a real number one contender against DayZ that's for sure.

15th January 2015 is the release date for Early Access Alpha of H1Z1

Nope Kris, PC on Day 1 then it will come to PS4 probably around Beta stage.

I don't really blame you for this stance. I often play games in Alpha, Beta these days, it doesn't work 100% and I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth when the full release rolls around. DayZ is probably the most stable alpha I've played.
