Dunno howmuch that Tosh goes for, but have a nose on ebay for the Dell Latitude D630/D830 with the Nvidia quadro graphics.
Have seen those playing WoW (and a few other FPS's) quite happily. IIRC MaddAussie on these forums has one (I run a D830 for work, and *obviously* wouldn't play games on it, but I did see UT3 running on one at respectable frame rates).
A quick nose on ebay puts them at about the same price, the Dell (imho) trumping the Tosh as they pack the proper C2D processors rather than the rather pathetic celerons...

Re: will THIS laptop RUN wow?

There was a time when you'd have chosen a Tosh above just about any other laptop but I'm afraid those days are gone. They priced themselves out of the business market a while ago.

Re: will THIS laptop RUN wow?

you're going to struggle for 400 quid, you're going to need a discreet gfx card ideally...look for nVidia or ATI. Avoid Intel GMA stuff as it's all onboard with shared memory. Ultimately look at the best spec laptop you can before and look for reviews on google.

My brother has an acer that runs wow very well...in fact the only game it's struggled with is left for dead. But that was around a grand...
