Android app to sync files with a network share

Yes, the topic says it all really, is there an anyone uses that can sync a folder on phone or SD card with a network drive.
I currently do it manually via android file manager apps, I have tried a few but would like one that I can sync automatically or have run at a certain time of the day.

Cheers
Dan

I keep things on Dropbox. Upload from PC, download via the app.

Re: Android app to sync files with a network share

The NSA wants to see the pictures I take and files I use, I couldn't care less. They can't touch me legally.

That sounds worse than it should...

Said the plaintiff.

Back to the topic though, I use BT Sync to synchronise two files without the *cloud* in the middle. There's also an Android app for it.

The only problem of not having a cloud in the middle is that both devices need to be on in order for the sync to work, however, since it's running on my NAS, that's not particularly a problem.

Alternatively, as mentioned, is to use Dropbox/Box/SugarSync/OneDrive/GoogleDrive/OwnCloud/OtherCloudStorageBoxSyncDrive to synchronise between the two.

Depending on the network drive (is it a NAS? Or a computer that's on constantly?) you want to put it on and whether there's an app available.

All sorts of media, TV EPs basically (legit ofc) I want to automatically sync my new downloads for the day. Dropbox I already have and use, but only have like 5 gig and use about 3-4 for stuff I do want on it

Re: Android app to sync files with a network share

BT Sync is probably right up your alley then as I imagine there's quite a lot of data there to sync.

What network drive are you putting it on?

I have seen the BT app but dismissed it without looking at it as I just assumed it was another Dropbox. I will install it and take a butchers

Re: Android app to sync files with a network share

You're going to have to have a machine that's connected to that network drive that remains on whilst it syncs up with BT Sync. If that's not an issue, then it should be a perfect solution.
