High res artwork

Ok so pickiest post yet from me but meh.

So got a rMBP here and noticed a few things, all in the attachment.

The GG face on the forums that shows up in the tab is high res and looks spot on, for the LAN page its not, yea I know its still a wip but thought I would point it out as it should be a quick fix, i.e copy the image over.

Also the forums logo at the top looks blurry / scaled on retina screens, main site looks a little better but you can still tell its a low res image scaled up.

Also the forum smilies again look a bit pants on a retina screen.

Yea I know, small things, not really importent in the big scheme of things but now 4k screens are becoming affordable more people will be viewing the site on high res screens with the DPI settings set to more than 100% so it makes sense to update the images now so that things are future proof

No idea how the screenshots will come out, but I have attached them anyhow so you can see what I mean

Re: High res artwork

Ok so OSX's retarded method of pixel doubling makes them look shit on this screen as its doubled the size of the image :s

Re: High res artwork

Take yer high res dee pee eyes and do one, ya posh retina display having git!

In other news - there's still a lot of changes happening regarding the support for high-res/retina display images on the web and there's no *final* way of doing it that's not really hacky. It's something that will be worked on when there's a more 'agreed upon' solution to do it.

High res artwork

Are you going to include the older EDuke32 snapshot you mentioned in the first post of this thread or the current one?

High res artwork

I just received my meihua scroll and I love it Its so much nicer than even the high-res image on your web site. You have probably heard this a million times, but it would be nice if you had better photos which showed more detail.
