With AMC's Breaking Bad coming to an end there's been a lot of talk about a possible spin-off to the hit series.
AMC have now announced they will be moving ahead with a prequel series revolving around criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. Currently titled 'Better Call Saul', the series will see Bob Odenkirk return as the character before he met Walter White.

I like the character but not sure about a series revolving around him. Hopefully they go with a story arc instead of a shitty case of the week kind of thing.

Yeah I can imagine that getting old pretty damn fast. I mean, he is a great character but not sure he'd work as a leading role.

Agreed with the above. Saul is an excellent character in Breaking Bad as comic relief, but as the main character of his own show could be a little too much.

The crooked lawyers are part of just about every crime related drama, never seen one about the lawyers themselves, should be interesting.

An hour long show about a lawyer, his secretary and a guy called Mike? Trying to steal USA's coveted Suits audience, perhaps?

I reckon it will last a season, maybe two depending on writing. If it's done poorly or perceived as a cash-grab, I could see it getting cancelled mid-season...
