FAO Sprite XBMC

Just got this set up on my Vista / Lan box and got a few issues, wonder if you can offer any advice / point me to some good guides.
Added a source for some music, movies and TV shows as a test, the scraper picks up some images for the music but for ones if doesn't recognise rather than use a default icon it uses one from another track.
Secondly it cant connect to the databases for ether the default movie or TV show scrapers?, Tried to download the IMBD one and it sat at 0%.
Lastly what skin do you use?

Sprite used to use a skin called "Aeon" which isn't yet part of the new repository system they have in the newest version. I've just tried the "xperience" skin, which emulates the xbox 360 dashboard (previous to the november update we just had) and the outlook on it so far is positive. May even make it my default skin. Well built and looks very nice.

I don't use the in built scrapers in XBMC (I'm a stickler for accuracy) as such - I use 'Ember Media Manager' to do my movies. 'The Renamer' to at least name my tv shows correctly (without meta data tho) and MP3Tag for my MP3s. Havn't used XBMC for music, but I'll run a test, see what I can come up with.

Edit: also, don't forget to head into your settings and enable hardware acceleration...

Cheers ill look into the software recommended, I wont be using XBMC for music, only did it as a test.

Just tried it with some of my music, and since it's all correctly tagged with album art and all, XBMC simply reads that all in..

Aeon MQ 2 is the best aeon skin out there atm imo.

go into addons and download a music scapper plugin. Then when you do the scrape use that plugin you've selected. Sorted!!

There is a scraper there, for some reason it is giving all the music it doesnt recognise a HTID art.
Like I say I wont be using it for music but I would like to know how it works and why its doing what its doing

Then xbmc will use the info there. Works really well (told pete nixon about it a while ago and he loves it)

Ahh MediaMonkey, another very useful bit of software, used it for a while, but found myself drawn to Mp3Tag's simplicity over it. Can't bash it tho.

Seems that Aeon MQ2 has been updated since I last tried it so I'll have to give that another whirl!

Forgot to say i also use emebr for my movie and TV. Top program
