Do you have to watch the original to watch the new one?

Re: TRON: Legacy

I wouldn't say you'd have to but it would help to fully understand the plot.

Re: TRON: Legacy

Just saw it for the second time today. Bears up well to repeat viewings.

One thing to note though - if you have an opportunity to catch it on the IMAX do so - I've seen it on both and the difference in quality is startling (Although its still very shiny on the cinema screen).

Good film although I got a tad bored in it. Story was just lacking something.

Re: TRON: Legacy

Just got in from seeing it at Imax in 3d, awesome, the club scene was immense!
CGI was awesome, Not quite perfect yet but Clu had been rendered pretty damn well.

I take it that the place you saw it has the full speaker setup 12000 watts or w/e

Derezzed at that volume.... Win.

Yea Imax, the speakers were literally bigger than my car, the entire place was shaking yet no distortion at all, utterly win.

Re: TRON: Legacy

Loved the film one of the best I have seen in a long time and the 3D was perfect. A brilliant argument for the new age of film-making.
