You do know that its american law that any encryption software sold in the USA has to be given to the NSA first. They are able to get past any encryption on the market I am pretty sure ( market in the US anyway)

I would say it makes you wonder why its worth encrypting but if its only the NSA that can crack it then for usage its fine.
Still fucking shocking that they can do this.

not even sure its just the NSA, I would assume they pass relevant info onto other agencies (which is fair enough if it IS relevant info.

No idea about other countries or their rules about this stuff

and P.S any encryption that is not sold in the USA I am sure they have the brute force to crack it. They have had banks of supercomputers since the 90s, with their budget and modern tech their CPU power now must be off the charts
