Getting to Work. Win or a Fail?
Right, so I had to go for an interview at a place that I had only ever been once or twice. It's a place called Putney. There is a highstreet which I have been to before.
Anyway, one of my teachers said the place where I had to go was next to a Carpet shop and a charity shop, next to these would be a courtyard with like.. metal stairs. I thought I knew where I was going. I went down to the highstreet and found where I was looking for, there was a carpet shop, next to that was a Chariety Online and next to that an opening with some metal stairs in.
I called the guy I was meeting and said about me thinking I was there, I was early but he told me to come on up the blue stairs. I hung up, looked around and I was surrounded by black stairs. I thought they may be dark blue so walked around for a while trying to see if he would open a door. He didn't.
I called back and a colleague of his answered. I enquired on where to go and he told me to go to the sainsburies with a church and a dreams near by, it was next to the Dreams (bed shop).
I had seen a sainsburies earlier so went to it, opposite was a church. I looked around for a good 20 minutes but couldn't find a Dreams anywhere. I didn't want to call back looking like an absolute arse so instead, I went on the Dreams website on my phone, found the store locator, found the Putney store's details, got the postcode, shoved it onto Google Maps on my phone and followed it (it was round the corner).
I found out that there was a SainsburysLocal and another church next to this Dreams..
Is this a win or a fail, I am not sure.
