Re: BitCoin
I have the Litecoin client, selected solo mining and started but it only seems to be using my CPU not the GPU, I cant see any way yo get it to use the GPU?
Seen a few guides online but they only show how to get started with pooled mining using 3rd party software, I am open to using third party software but cant see how to link it to my wallet? Bitcoin generated a encrypted key, not got one for lite coin.
If we do a pool how do the coins get distributed?

Re: BitCoin
Yea tried a Guiminer and a pool couldnt connect.
Also the method for linking your wallet to the pool wanst that clear, seemed like I jsut generated a random key and put that in my wallet and on there site, god knows how that key pointed it to my wallet?
This seems rediculsly complicated for what it is.
Ill stick to folding for the time being.

Re: BitCoin
Anyone still interested in Litecoin?
Any links to good guides? the ones I have found use CLI clients and look to be pretty complex (2+ pages of setup instructions)

Re: BitCoin
Plat, I'm pretty sure I got a Litecoin miner onto my computer with a GUI interface within a few minutes. What's the issue?

Re: BitCoin
Referral based coin faucet, I am giving a go, looks like it could turn a nice profit if you get enough people signed up via your referral link, so here is mine, free to sign up, free coins as per normal faucets :

Also try getting some free coins, just fire your address, fill in a captcha and roll http://freebitco.in/?r=298296.
Can do it every hour.

Dropped from over $800 to just over $500, its now at $700, Bitcoin crashes are not a time to panic its a time to buy.

Re: BitCoin
I did not see the point in mining as i thought it was for amd based systems more ? I have 2 core i5 systems both with 4000 and 4800 hd graphics, so it it really worth it ?

Re: BitCoin
You can still mine Doge with CPU's, or go on a multicoin pool such as Hashcows.
