We'll be trialling a new discount system for next LAN, which will be called "Interaction Discount". In exchange for making comments on articles on the main GameGrin website you'll get a personalised discount rate for your ticket, the amount of which is based on a number of factors. When the next LAN is announced, individual discount rates will be calculated and you’ll be able to see it on your profile and the LAN booking page. This discount rate will also apply to the Early Bird price, so you could end up with an incredibly cheap ticket!
Once the announcement has passed and your discount generated, the timer starts over and comments made past that point will go toward your Interaction Discount for the next LAN. So don’t stop once you've had your discount level for that LAN!
Calculations are based on averages, so you can't just make all your comments in one day either - and they also have to hit a certain quality criteria, so attempts at 'shitposting' your way to a discount won't work.
Note that in order to be able to obtain Interaction Discount, you'll need to be signed in when you make comments.
