Games are a lot better these days at 'leading you in' to the experience - MMOs, with their complexities are good at drip-feeding you instructions, so you fully understand how you're playing as you level.

My interest in WoW is about spent, I could be looking for a new MMO.

Ditto, I've basically given up hope finding the perfect guild for raiding like I have done in the past and without regular raiding theres nothing in WoW that interests me enough to play.
