A return to gaming, need a PC!

Hey all. I used to lurk on here many moons ago but can't access my old account due to a defunct email address and poor memory

My old PC Exploded in a pop when I tried to boot it up after being in storage for 12 years or so. It was a cutting edge Intel p4 2.4C with a GeForce gtx 6800ti (all overclocked naturally) and could handle original COD as well as WoW

I'm keen to reboot WoW and probably dabble in CS and CoD if they are still going?!

Would I be able to build a rig for £700-800 inc a screen/Keyboard/mouse and be able to play the above in reasonable settings?

Open to AMD or Intel builds. Have had a look on overclockers and eBay to get some ideas but I'm about 18 years out the loop!

I ended up saving up a bit more and building one a month ago. Splashed out a bit more and it has been great timing with all this free lockdown time!

Built a:

500GB SSD
1TB main
EVGA 650W gold PSU
Fractal design mid tower
Asus VG278Q 27" monitor

Plays cod warzone really nice in full settings as well as sea of thieves. Played some Wow classic too for more relaxing gaming

Loving warzone. It feels like a mix of old cod and battlefield zooming around in all the vehicles.

It will cost you a lot if you want your PC to run new games for the next 3-5 years. You should at least get 1080ti...

Cheers guys but this was sorted back in March �� It was a 5700 XT I got too! Still just playing wow classic at the moment, not putting much stress on the pc!
