Well this is combined stats so pretty much do any boinc project for a team called GameGrin, We have teams for Seti / Milky Way / WCG and Collatz Conjecture atm.

If you want to represent GameGrin for a project we currently dont have a team for simply create a team called GameGrin and it will be picked up.

Not far off 49th, looks like Collatz Conjecture and Milky Way at home are the best for points, ill be sticking with Seti mainly once the WU's come back though with a small percentage of compute time for the others.

GPU's are what we need, AMD / Nvidia and in some cases Intel GPU's are good.

For example I can run Collatz on my Macbooks Intel GPU, that project gets us a lot of points, Seti can be run on Intel GPU's under Windows as well and should be better than the CPU whilst using less power.

46th now, I don't think its a stretch to say we can get into the top 5, it would be great publicity for GG I think, we just need more power

You can set how much compute time is used, you could if you want just crunch on 1 CPU core and that it, you wouldn't notice this at all in windows and it would not add much at all to the electricity bill but would help the team loads

Its basically client software that acts as a hub for a number of distributed computing projects, Seti ect, it can run multiple projects at the same time which is useful.

From there site :

Back running Milky Way.

Seems a decent commpromise over Points/Power.

Yea Milky way is also good in its one of the few projects that can max your GPU on one unit.

For the CPU I prefer to run World community grid, its a CPU only project so you can do good work on just a CPU where as the rest of the projects are mainly GPU so you dont end up doing much on the CPU.

Be aware though when using both the GPU and CPU make sure you have it set so you have around 2 cores / threads free otherwise it will starve the GPU.

And if you have a top end GPU run Collatz conjecture and only select large units in the settings, its points hax I get about a quarter of a million a day from it...

Thing is.. Is my 6950 a "Top End" card anymore, I dont think it is. Its Mid-Mid range at best I think.

I'll see how this Milky Way thing goes, its running 24/7 unless Im gaming.

Oh I dare say so, 6 cores on the chip so I reckon there should be a few free.
