Wayne Rooney 'will not sign new Manchester United deal'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...td/9101905.stm

Cant say I am surprised by this, it will be a massive blow to the club though if its true.
Where will he go? my bet is on Man City, Rooney has said in the past he doenst want to move away from his family and if he really has fallen out big style with Fergie this would be the ultimate insult.
Would United sell him to them? cant see that they would, I would expect a Barca offer to come in and he goes there, after all if he goes to City I cant see him being able to go outside for fear of being lynched.
If he leaves he needs to leave Manchester imo.

Lets see how many games he gets between now and January lol.

Isn't there a deal in place where if you fall out with Fergie you get sent to play for Real Madrid??

AFAIK Real get first dibs.
So if he goes there my money is on Benzema and Diara coming this way.

Man Ut will be ok if he leaves, he hasn't been that good this year and was awful in the World Cup (along with the entire squad).

If Real offer the rumored £50Mil, its a no brainer. Isn't it?

Depends, with the current club finances the Glaziers will want that money, however Rooney goes through patches without goals every now and again, he will get his form back, and they way the club are playing at the moment a on form Rooney is worth a lot more to them, remember last season he practically dragged them through on his own.

Re: Wayne Rooney 'will not sign new Manchester United deal'

Complete contract manipulation from his agent I reckon.

Make out he is leaving, that someone else will pay £XXX for him, whats your offer etc...

Seems it worked..

No but his mother in law who apparently controls things probably is.
