The Windows 10 megathread
So who is installing it tomorrow? Who allready runs it? tips / tricks?
Big thing I have seen so far is Windows updates also pushes drivers out which is breaking things at least for Nvidia users.
Number of workarounds, looks like MS have released a tool to hide certain updates so Windows Update does not push them out to you.

I've been running the Insider Preview on a VM to toy with the Xbox stuff. Couldn't get the Xbox One controller to connect to the VM properly, and didn't really spend much time trying.
From the limited exposure I've had to it though, it looks and feels really nice, and does a lot of things that 8 should have from the start (normalish start-menu, I'm looking at you)

Assuming there's no issues with its release I'll likely be installing it over the next few days or the weekend, from what I've seen so far it looks like a nice improvement.

Dawson, XBOne streaming, will the app turn the XBOne on for you or do you have to go to the machine and turn it on manually?

Same as Smart Glass - if it's on low power mode, you'll be able to turn it on through the interface in W10.

Actually you will need to go to the machine to swap the disc, 2015 and we still have to swap discs :'(
