Portable gaming laptops

Been thinking for a while at getting a laptop capable of playing games, When I get home from work in the week im usualy to knackered / to much back ache to use the desktop PC so beenthinking about something that I can use for gaming when relaxing on the sofa / bed.
Also looking for something thats not gonna weigh a ton.
Also thinking if I get something good enough for COD4 then packing up for a lan would be a hell of a lot easier
Dont wanna go over 15" on the laptop.

So far the best I have seen is the 512mb 8600GT Mac Book pro (Dont laugh), which is nice and lightweight and has the best screen I have ever seen (LED Backlight FTW).
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Yargh has a Dell XPS. Dunno if they do a 15" one, but the performance of his (17" iirc) was simply astounding.
You also might want to invest in one of those cooled tray things to put on your lap/the bed, as the undersides of this type of laptop get *very* hot

Can second on the dell xps range, really are outstanding machines. Very high build quality, very solid designs and all ive worked on have had very good performance in tests.
