CSS Cfg

EDIT : Major Cfg Update for September 2011!!

Had eight million of you asking for a config for css this month, so i figured id stick one up for yer all thats pretty much suitable for any system. If you still get horrible fps lag with this then things have to go a little more extreme, pm me and i can tailor for your system.

Anyways jus stick this lot in a text file and rename it to autoexec.cfg
Put this in ur steam/steamapps/username/counter strike source/cstrike/cfg directory

thats true ive got my exo config on an external 250Gb hd and its filled it. takes 2mins to autoexec at the start. (but always quality tbh though)

I've been using an Exo config since the last time he posted one and up, and until the last big update it was the dogs danglies.

wont the go server change your config to the go settings tho Exo? or have you duplicated those settings in part?

A lot of people dont have a system capable of running css straight out the box at a good fps, thats where a config comes in. If you aint getting a constant fps of 80-100 then people that are do have an advantage over others.

A major update done for the current CSS version

Netsettings are based on a maxed out 66 tick server and do factor packet loss.

Should suit you all well for warming up ready to play Global Operations in the new year!

Not being up on configs and only ever used Ex0s Blops one, does this only offer benefits for machines not quite powerful enough to get a constant 60FPS or is there benefits for people with fast machines as well?

There's benefits in the registration side of things, but your average joe wont notice much.

Could argue that the lower details etc makes things clearer when playing, less clutter, less distractions, but to most that's not something they would care about.

All a matter of preference really if you're already on a high end rig.
